Precision service on your equipment combined with regularly scheduled Preventative Maintenance (PM) visits ensures reliability and extends the life of your equipment investment. With regularly scheduled maintenance visits we can find and repair issues before they become serious downtime events. Your equipment is a critical part of your business and downtime is one of the most expensive results of even minimal neglect. It is worth the investment to ensure unlimited onsite repairs, emergency service calls, insulation from part price increases and unlimited use of our Technical Support. We do realize that you may have unique needs for your service care, and G.P.S. has proactively developed several standard plans to assist you in reaching your nuclear medicine service goals.

We currently offer the following service plans:
Full Service Contract - Comprehesive equipment coverage.
Labor Only Contract - Contract covers labor on repairs, normaly between 8am and 5pm. Parts are
not covered.
PM Only Contract - Recommended maintenance at secured hourly rates during the life of your
contract. Parts are not covered.
Billable Repair Services - Low hourly rates and competitive parts pricing.
Full Service Contract
In only one year, the cost of individual service calls made against a typical contract can easily exceed the price of a contract by 50% or more. Our full service contracts protect your investment and keep your equipment running at optimum performance. Your equipment uptime is just as critical to you as it is to G.P.S. A full service contract includes 2 PM visits per year to ensure your equipment maintains peak performance. A full service contract also delivers unlimited on-site emergency and non-emergency repair visits. Our expert factory-trained field service engineers are typically able to identify the problem over the phone in order to arrive on-site with the right corrective parts necessary to return the system to operating condition with minimal downtime.
Labor Only Contract
This contract only covers labor on repairs between the hours specified in the contract, Monday through Friday, normally between 8 am and 5 pm. Parts are not covered.
Preventative Maintenance (PM) Contract
The longevity of your nuclear medicine gamma camera, and other related medical equipment, can be prolonged by routine PM check-ups. Nothing is more critical than performing the proper routine maintenance. Why wait for a failure to occur? The industry standard recommends 2 PM visits per year to insure the health of your equipment. G.P.S. also offers customized PM contracts for customers that need PM’s to be performed after 5 pm or during weekends. Our PM contracts include secured hourly service rates over the term of the PM contract.
PM visits also include the following features:
1. Comprehensive analysis and performance verification of mechanical operation, electrical power supplies, signals, and image quality.
2. Examination and testing of all safety emergency switches and safety circuits.
3. Diagnostic tests to analyze and assess each system’s functionality.
4. Various equipment adjustments i.e. mechanical and electrical calibrations and proper lubrication and verification.
5. Cleaning and vacuuming of dust from circuits and fans.
6. Active identification of worn or damaged parts needed to be replaced before they cause serious system malfunction and or downtime. Our goal is to report these issues, and provide solutions to rectify them before they inhibit proper equipment use.
7. Performance verification to assure the equipment meets factory specifications.
8. Appropriate PM Documentation for accreditation and state inspection purposes.
Billable Repair Services
G.P.S. will provide you with experienced field service engineers and certified replacement parts. All of our services are available on a Time and Material (T&M) basis. Our rates on both parts and service will save the typical customer between 20 and 50% off of Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) pricing. Customers will be provided a brief troubleshooting and analysis session with a technical expert to assist in isolation and resolution of your issue. If additional technical support assistance or on-site repair is required, you will be provided with a repair estimate and a tentative on-site schedule to complete the repair.
